Just look around you – everything that you see, touch, feel and smell is made of some kind of material (Living in a Material World... Madonna was right after all ! :)) In the pre-historic times (i.e., before the computers came into being) engineers had to satisfy themselves with taking what nature provided them, more or less. Much later, we have learned how to engineer material properties for superior structural design and performance. At present, the distinction between material and structural concepts is beginning to blur, and we are beginning to be able to design structural components with built-in material properties for specific applications. |

Engineered Materials Concepts (EMC), LLC focus on development of research based mathematical models which simulate the complex material/structural microstructure and analyze the behavior at both macro and micro scales. A major share of research conducted in Universities and research institutions is not put to use due to its nature in which it cannot be utilized by the industry. EMC, therefore, strives to facilitate the industry and academia with user-friendly tools developed based on research conducted in-house or In association with academic institutes.
